**Core Elements:**
- Obstacle Course Racing
- Tug of War (Zone Challenges)

**Objective:**
Compete in a time-trial-based obstacle course race that features physical resistance zones where opponents must face off in tug-of-war challenges before continuing.

---

**Teams & Players:**
- 2 teams of 4–6 players.
- Each round sends one runner per team.
- Players rotate until all have run once; lowest total time wins.

---

**Field Layout:**
- Obstacle race setup (cones, hurdles, rope climbs, crawling zones).
- 3 “Gladiator Zones” per lap: marked areas where players face an opponent from the other team in a strength-based challenge before advancing.
- Zones include rope-pull, resistance band drag, or balance-push.

---

**Gameplay Cycle:**
1. Players race the course against time.
2. In each Gladiator Zone, a runner meets a random opposing player for a mini tug challenge.
3. If a runner wins the zone challenge within 20 seconds, they advance.
4. If they lose or time runs out, they must complete an extra obstacle loop.
5. Time is paused briefly during tug encounters for fairness.

---

**Scoring:**
- Fastest team total time wins.
- Bonus points:
  - Win all 3 zones in a single run: +2 team points
  - Fastest individual time: +1 team point

---

**Twist / Chaos Element:**
- “Double Dash”: One runner must run the course twice, randomly drawn after first round.
- “Mirror Match”: Runners must compete while mirroring their opponent’s movements for one section.

---

**Safety Notes:**
- No direct striking or body collisions.
- Tug mechanics use soft rope or resistance bands only.
- All courses should have safety mats in critical zones.

---

**Setup Time:** 20 minutes
**Play Time:** ~40 minutes
